From the ashes it rises, first mere embers, then roaring flames, and through a passionate inferno, the Blue Phoenix spreads its wings
Official rules for ranked matches, division promotions, and challenges to the Blue Phoenix.
New members enter at the bottom of a division, then fight their way upward. Contact the Clan Lead or an Evaluator for initial placement.
Challenge the player directly above you. A regular challenge is best of three matches. The defender has 2 days to accept or forfeits and swaps positions with the challenger. Once accepted, both players have 3 days to finish. The Clan Lead or Co-Lead decides who caused a delay and may grant exceptions. A player who dropped a rank in the last 12 hours cannot be challenged.
The winner takes the higher position and the loser moves to the lower position. If the challenger fails to defeat the defender, the challenger cannot challenge upward for 24 hours. If the defender loses their rank, the defender cannot challenge upward for 48 hours. Either loser is protected from being challenged for 12 hours.
A failed regular challenger receives a 24-hour cannot-challenge cooldown; a defender who loses their rank receives 48 hours. Both receive 12-hour protection from being challenged. A failed division promotion also receives a 24-hour cannot-challenge cooldown, 12-hour protection, and a separate five-day promotion retry restriction.
Hold the #1 position in your division for at least 3 days. You may then challenge two distinct members of the division immediately above you, excluding only that division’s bottom-ranked member. Eligible defenders may already be involved in other challenges, and division promotions have no completion deadline.
Each of the two defenders chooses three different weapons for a best-of-three series. You must earn at least four round wins total across both series. For example, winning 3–0 against the first defender means you need one win against the second. Defenders do not lose rank from this test. There is no completion deadline for a division promotion. A failed promotion attempt gives the challenger a 24-hour cannot-challenge cooldown and 12-hour cannot-be-challenged protection. The separate 5-day waiting period before another division promotion attempt still applies.
Inferno #1 may challenge the current Blue Phoenix in mirror matches across all weapons. The player with the most wins holds the title. A new Blue Phoenix is protected from challenges for one week; a failed challenger must wait one week to retry. A demoted Blue Phoenix, placed at Inferno #1, cannot be challenged by Inferno #2 for 24 hours. Inferno #1 must satisfy the three-day #1 holding requirement before starting a title match. Blue Phoenix title matches have no completion deadline.
